Born in Germany, Margareta Nagengast came to the United States in 1893 at age of 16.


Began Bicycle racing and was World Record holder by the year 1900. In the early 1900's Margaret Gast started Motor racing, and became world champion and stunt driver. Ms. Gast proceeded to open a Health Studio in Manhattan, then the Dutchess Inn, Pawling, New York. Getting on in age and retiring, Massage Therapist became her profession until the age of 84.
